SMS Consent Disclosure
Last updated: May 20, 2026
Who sends the messages
Route My Reviews is a software platform that lets local businesses (our customers) send SMS review requests to their customers. The business — not Route My Reviews — is the sender of record and is responsible for obtaining consent from each recipient.
Program description
Messages sent through Route My Reviews are one-to-one transactional review requests sent after a service has been completed. A typical message looks like:
"Hi Jane, thanks for choosing Acme Plumbing! Mind sharing your experience? https://g.page/r/example/review — Reply STOP to opt out."
How consent is collected
Businesses using Route My Reviews must only send messages to customers with whom they have a prior business relationship and who have provided their phone number expecting follow-up communication. By using the platform, businesses agree they have obtained this consent.
Message frequency
Typically 1 message per completed service. Recipients should not receive ongoing marketing messages from Route My Reviews itself.
Opt-out
Recipients can opt out at any time by replying STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any message. After opting out, the recipient will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages from that business through our platform.
To resubscribe, reply START or YES.
Help
Reply HELP to any message to receive contact information for the business that sent it. For platform-level support, email support@routemyreviews.com.
Costs
Message and data rates may apply. Carriers (e.g. AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
